United States Marine Corps Awards COLSA MCIOC Contract

Huntsville, AL-COLSA announced today it was awarded the Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) full and open contract, a SeaPort-Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) task order from the United States Marine Corps. The contract supports operations in the information environment (OIE) occurring on-site at MCIOC, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico, Virginia.

COLSA brings Cyber and Information Warfare capabilities integral to this contract in support of USMC Operational Forces, Information Operations (IO) advocates, and IO proponents including Defensive Operations, Offensive Operations, and Information Warfare by discovering and exploiting threat entities, communities, and networks at mission speed.

“Winning the fight in the contested information environment is essential in the warfare of the future,” said Mike Ledbetter, Senior VP, Cyber, Information Warfare, & Data Science at COLSA. “We look forward to working with MCIOC in Quantico to continue the fight in cyber and operations in the information environment.”

Areas of focus within the contract include IO development and integration, signature management, IO analysis, operational security, program management, and intelligence technical support functions.
