COLSA (Huntsville) currently supports the following National Aeronautics and Space Administration programs:
Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC) – COLSA, as the prime contractor, manages the Huntsville Operations Support Center (HOSC) at the Marshall Space Flight Center which hosts the International Space Station Payload Operations Integration and Control Center (POIC), the Space Shuttle Engineering Support Center (SESC) and Data Reduction Facility (DRF), the Backup Control Center (BCC) for the Mission Control Center at Johnson Space Center, and the Ares Engineering Support Facility (ESF) and archive. We provide the day to day operations of the facility and resources, providing sustaining support for the infrastructure, systems and software, as well as upgrades to the infrastructure and systems to support current and future programs.
Configuration and Data Management Services (CDMS) – COLSA, as the prime contractor, provides management, centerwide support, configuration and data management support to product line directorate, programs, and projects, NASA technical standards program support, technology transfer support, and special studies for Marshall Space Flight Center. COLSA provides MSFC/NASA with configuration and data management services for complex systems, including over 50 International Space Station (ISS) payload projects and independently launched payloads.
