COLSA
Corporation excels in the design, integration, operations and management
of High Performance Computer Centers. COLSA currently performs these operations
for Missile Defense Agency’s Advanced Research Center (ARC), Missile
and Space Intelligence Center’s (MSIC) High Performance Computing
Center, and the US Army’s Research Development Engineering Center’s
Hypersonic Missile Technology Research and Operations Center (HMTROC).
The ARC averages 3200 yearly re-configurations of its 14 test beds providing
technical, experimental, and operational support to Army Space and Missile
Defense Programs in meeting simulation and high performance computing
requirements.
MSIC support provides computer system and software engineering support
for analytical systems databases, laboratories, the Operations Center
and networks in an SCI Environment.
HMTROC is a State-of-the-Art Supercomputing Resource for CFD Application
with multiple cluster computer systems, the most notable being the 5088
CPU Apple-based MACH5 cluster designed and built by COLSA for the customer.
This 28 teraflop system is optimized for CFD and Scene Generation Software.
In all of the above facilities, COLSA provides the customer with real-time
property and asset management, research and engineering analysis for hardware
/ software implementation, design, development, and integration of test
bed component and visualization suites, We provide program support through
software IV&V, testing, and model VV&A, and perform complete network
engineering services and security operations.
