| With COLSA since: 2007
I joined COLSA when one of its customers, Office of the Federal Detention Trustee (OFDT/DOJ), made the decision to use MS SharePoint as its base platform for the automation of all their office processes. After being hired, I became responsible for managing the SharePoint system and the development and implementation of the SharePoint tools and solutions that would reside in this environment.
After 4 years of Organizational Process and Procedure reengineering that leveraged all of SharePoint’s capabilities and then some, the COLSA team fully automated the OFDT Office by implementing hundreds of customized SharePoint solutions that handled the organization’s Financial, Procurement, Administrative, and Program Management processes. This effort has significantly saved the customer time, money, and reduced their day-to-day operational risks. These “cool” products have also increased the customer’s appetite for more automation! Moreover, our customer is now bragging to other organizations within the Department of Justice about their “cool SharePoint Tools.”
From the first day that I was hired by COLSA, I felt a true sense of unity with my fellow COLSA employees. Everyone was truly interested in ensuring that I had everything that I needed, and we worked as a team to keep the customer satisfied. It was this great family-like atmosphere and employee work ethic that created the conditions that allowed the COLSA SharePoint development team to successfully deploy in a timely fashion the many different SharePoint products. |
