Number of Years at COLSA: 2 yrs
Working with a team of artists, engineers, scientists, and technical professionals in a collaborative environment, my responsibilities include the development of 3D/2D visual content, mentoring junior level peers and interns, recommending third-party hardware and software, in support of the America's Army Project Office. I work with industry standard game development tools such as Epic’s Unreal Engine 3, Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop, and Pixologic Zbrush, to design and produce cutting edge art and game assets. I devote my time daily to creating realistic game environments to support a more lifelike user experience. The environments I create help immerse the player in our games to provide more effective training.
I have worked on several training projects for America’s Army. Some of these trainers are currently fielded in Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s a great feeling knowing that the job I enjoy so much can at the same time directly support our soldiers in the field. |
