I am a Senior Systems/Network Analyst,on the HMT Contract. I provide systems and networking support for a 8,000 square foot data center containing more than 7 different HPC clusters computer with over 8,500 processors. We work with several different system architectures using more than 5 operating systems. I am directly involved with Technology R&D, benchmarking various architectures and operating systems as well as configuring and supporting complex networks. I am generally involved with everything from the initial concept and design, to installation and integration of a system.
The systems that we design, configure and support are used by the U.S. Army to perform hypersonic flight simulations. It is a great feeling knowing that you play a part in providing safety for your country and have the honor in doing a job that provides the technology to support our troops! |
