I primarily handle all recruiting efforts for MDA programs at COLSA. This includes recruiting for multiple geographic locations, i.e., Huntsville, Colorado Springs, and Washington D.C. I work through the full life cycle of a job opening, from helping a manager determine his/her needs, to posting the job, seeking candidates, and ensuring a good fit for the company as well as the individual. What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to travel and meet all kinds of different people through job fairs and college career days.
Finding the right candidate is the most important part of being a recruiter. I feel like I’ve been successful when I find a candidate who is the right fit for our ‘Family of Professionals’. Our skilled and knowledgeable employees are critical to the success of our missile defense customers.
