| Education: B.S., or above in a related Computer Science or Science (I.e.Physics) field
The challenge of converting real world physics behaviors of real world objects into a modeling and simulation environment can be very rewarding. Team members work closely together to uncover the unique characteristics of movement, control capabilities, sensor parameters, communications, and other aspects of the objects and translate them into Object Oriented Models and entities within a vast Constructive Simulation framework of 100s of classes and behaviors within a growing Federation of simulation programs.
To date, the team has developed and composed over 150 different satellite models including the entire GPS Satellite constellation, several commercial satellite constellations, and numerous sensors, communications packages and cross-linking network systems. The team has most recently added Electronic Warfare jamming models to our portfolio and is in the process of developing additional Electronic Warfare and Intelligence Warfare models to the OneSAF infrastructure. OneSAF is the designated Army wide Constructive Simulation platform of choice. |
