ACE
Each COLSA location
is empowered to decide the ACE activities which will
best support their local interests. ACE sponsors community
support activities as well as activities that employees
and their families can enjoy. Each year, the ACE plans
and sponsors activities such as:
- ACE Hearts and Flowers
- flowers are sent to employees
or family members who are ill or hospitalized.
- ACE Fundraisers
– Periodic fundraisers to
benefit a COLSA employee or immediate family member
who has experienced a tragedy in their lives or in
need of financial assistance.
- ACE Annual Membership
Drive Party – held
in early Spring, food, fun, games and door prizes.
- ACE Dependent Scholarships
– fundraisers are held to provide scholarships for
COLSA dependents entering or continuing their college
education.
- Family Summer Picnic
– food, recreation, door prizes.
- Thanksgiving Luncheon
– COLSA employees gather to share the feast.
- Sausage Ball Contest
– Enter your favorite recipe and you could win $100.
- Chili Contest
– Enter your favorite recipe and you could win $100.
- Adult Christmas Party
– food, entertainment, announcement of Employee of
the Year and Manager of the Year, door prizes.
- Children’s Christmas
Party – Santa
Claus, food, and gifts.
- Children’s Easter
Event – Easter
bunny, Easter egg hunt, gifts.
- Fall Event
– Hayrides, corn mazes, gifts.
- Employee Cookouts-onsite barbecues at COLSA Pavilion
– Food, games, fun for entire family.
