2017 Small Business Industry Day
COLSA Corporation announces the 2017 Small Business Industry Day. This Industry Day is intended to provide a forum for the small business community to cultivate relationships with COLSA, and to raise awareness of potential new business opportunities for small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses and HUBZone businesses. Specifically, COLSA is looking to establish relationships with small businesses that can support our long-term strategic plans in the following areas:
- System Engineering and Integration
- Test and Evaluation
- Software Engineering
- Computer Engineering and Operations
- Information Management
- Program Management
- Other Technical Areas that Support our Long-Term Corporate Vision
Any small businesses interested in doing business with COLSA is welcome to attend the event; however, attendance is not required for future participation as a vendor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant to COLSA. Please note that attendance is strictly voluntary and attendance will NOT guarantee receipt of any agreement, subcontract, or purchase order.
Industry Day attendees may anticipate 5-10 minute one-on-one sessions with COLSA representatives to discuss their company’s ability to participate in current or future COLSA small business opportunities. At the time of registration, participants should submit a summary core capability statement (1-2 Pages) that addresses the following: unique skills, core capabilities, previous work, and innovations.

Registration for each event will close at 4:00 PM Central Standard Time on Friday, 3 November 2017. Pre‐registration is required. Walk‐ins will not be permitted. Registration is limited to two (2) representatives from each organization attending the Industry Day; however, if requested attendance exceeds the capacity of the facility it may be necessary to further limit attendance of personnel from each organization to one (1) representative. COLSA will reply via e‐mail with the registration confirmation.
This announcement is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for a proposal. COLSA is not liable for any costs incurred as a result of interested parties’ participation in the Industry Day. All expenses associated with attendance are the responsibility of the participant(s).
